Ryugenji Mabu Mine Shaft (Open to the public)
This mabu (mine shaft) was under the direct management of the Magistrate's Office during the middle of the Edo Period. In 1988, excavations uncovered structures near the entrance and traces of silver vein prospecting. In 1989, the tunnel was cleared through to the Tochihatadani Valley, and is now open to visitors.
